A very old promise...

Greetz,

Time to go to bed... however, honouring some close friends,I need to right now mark in the blog a crucial moment in my life... It is true that...
... I was the last of the mortals to buy a mobile phone...
... taking the Drivers License, was a few years ago, one of my 3 D's (together with Degree and (D)job)

... and now... a bit overdue, I have for the first time written www.ikea.es in my browser, and rumour has it I might get into Ikea for the first time in the next few days. With this I fulfill a promise made during the dark years of 03-04, when EVERY single conversation with friends touched the topic Ikea... Furniture... Drapes... etc. etc. I promised myself then to only focus on Ikea when I actually needed it... Voilá!

... so, 1 day after signing a contract to rent a different flat in Madrid, the about-to-be-named "Piso de Baccus", veeeery near the Bernabéu Stadium, I have just spent the last 1h30m browsing the Ikea site in a first attempt to define a decoration style... How cool is that?!? This will definitely be the project for the next couple of months! More details about the house warming party soooooon!

"One small step for man, one giant leap towards adult life!"

Carpe Diem!

Hey Maestro,

Are you daring to put any bets on the match of this weekend? Let's hope you will be a Holland-supporter for this championship from monday onwards:-)

Sjoerd... Sjoerd...

I would expect a bit more realism after being kicked by PT in the last 2 major competitions...

But ok, if PT doesn't go through, I will be supporting my 2nd country!

Hey Nuno,

Indeed statistics are not supporting my case. But it's hope that keeps man alive:-) Otherwise I will be a good loser and support Portugal to the end.
